Two brand new Agents that, from my point of view, once again change the rules.

But what do they do?
They analyze large amounts of information with secure and compliant access to work data (emails, meetings, files, chats, and more) and the Web to provide highly skilled expertise on demand.
Researcher
This Agent helps you tackle complex, multi-stage work research, providing information with a quality and accuracy previously unattainable.
With the combination of OpenAI’s in-depth research model and M365 Copilot’s advanced orchestration and in-depth research capabilities, there are no more limits…at least until today.
Additionally, Researcher can leverage third-party data through connectors to enhance its capabilities and provide more comprehensive information, allowing for the integration of data from external sources.
Analyst
This Agent does something very different… it thinks!
Although it is not entirely true to say this, the truth is that it thinks like an expert data scientist.
It is built on OpenAI’s o3-mini reasoning model and optimized to perform advanced data analysis.
Analyst uses chain of thought reasoning to progress through problems iteratively, refining responses.
It can execute Python code to handle complex queries.
